Appalachian Iron, led by Neil Goodman, is a pioneering zero-carbon pig iron plant in the USA. This project commenced with the development of the logo and branding then the design and development of the website. We created a single-page, simple but concise site for a flawless and efficient user experience.
Website Maintenance and SEO
Appalachian Iron is a newly established company that needed branding for their business cards, marketing collaterals and a new website. Following discussions with the client, Bureauserv came up with various designs for the logo as well as colour schemes for the brand. We opted for a simple one-page design. Each section of the website highlights an aspect of the HIsmelt Green Pig Iron Project.
For this newly established website, we opted for a single page using a parallax scrolling effect. This effect allowed us to showcase content in easily digestible segments whilst providing visitors with a dynamic web experience.
The website is simple and not content and text-heavy so the parallax scrolling effect adds action and depth to the site, allowing users to focus on one topic at a time without having to navigate multiple pages.
We used nature-inspired colours of green and gray for the website, to reflect the company’s path to “Net Zero” carbon emissions. We have used these colours consistently throughout the site for a more cohesive look and feel.
